We see you taking photos at our events. Share them with us!

When you capture digital photos of Sabino's instrumental groups and would like to share them, please follow the instructions below.

We are happy to help if you have any difficulty getting your photos to us. Contact us if you want to share your photos but need help (a little or a lot). We'll find a way to get your photos, even if it means bringing along our laptops to rehearsals, swapping memory chips, whatever we need to do! Just ask! To post your pictures on the Sabino Band photo web page:

1. Weed out any pictures you consider not acceptable for posting. To save time, there’s no need to edit individual photos. Leave the original file names as created by the camera; do not re-name them.
   

2. Resize all photos to 1200 pixels on the longest side. Be sure to preserve your original pictures. Save as JPEG files with medium to med-high quality compression. Most photo organizing programs have a feature to resize a group of pictures for you. You may resize your photos individually, but we HIGHLY suggest using a program to do this in a group! We want this to be easy and quick for you!
• If you do not have software to convert your photos as a batch, we suggest trying a freeware program: IrfanView. You do not need the plug-ins (a separate download it offers). Once you have downloaded the program and installed it: select File:Batch Conversion, set the batch conversion details to create 1200 (pixels) on the longest size and save your photos in a new folder (or you might choose just to rename them). The program is available for you to download at: http://www.irfanview.com/
  
3. Zip all pictures into one file. This can be done using WinZip to compress all your photo files for quick and easy e-mail delivery.
   
4. Upload the zip file to http://www.yousendit.com (send to: random1@cox.net, include your name and what event was covered in the text message). You do not have to register with them to send your photos. The service is FREE!
   
5. our photos will be posted to a common web page gallery giving you credit as the photographer.

New photos will then be posted to the website as our season unfolds.
