Fundraisers Individual and General

We feature two types of fundraisers: General fundraisers, which benefit the overall Instrumental Department, and fundraisers that benefit the individual student account.  Individual Student account fundraiser proceeds may be used for anything that is musically related: Private music lessons, private purchase or rental of a musical instrument, attending musical seminars, camps.. the list goes on. General fundraiser proceeds are used to purchase new instruments, repair the old instruments, upgrade uniforms, replace chairs, take a trip, and everything else in-between.

Individual Student/Family Account Fundraisers:

U of A Football games: Please consider joining in on this fundraising opportunity! It is both fun and very profitable! Your account can benefit up to $40 per family member working in one night. Questions? Contact Jim Fitzpatrick .

Fry's Grocery/Gift Cards: A great way to help out Sabino Instrumental while you do your regular grocery shopping. By purchasing a $5.00 re-chargeable card and shopping at Fry's Grocery stores a portion of the money spent at Fry's using the purchased Fry's card will go in your student's individual account. This is an ongoing project. What's easier than earning $$s for your student's account while grocery shopping? Questions? Contact: Ellen Lance

e-Scrip: Earn money for your student's account while shopping at Safeway and other stores! Some local restaurants are even participating...check out their website to find out more!  If you participated last year, you'll need to renew your registration for this school year NOW! Honey-Baked Ham: Gift certificates between $10 - $50. Contact Ellen Lance to get yours! Great for yourself or as gifts for relatives and friends, here or at a distance!

See's Candies Sales: See's candy products will be available on a pre-sale basis. A variety of See's candies will be sold with the profits going directly to the individual student account. See's Candy sales will be an ongoing project for students to earn money for their accounts. Remember, DO NOT SELL AT SCHOOL. Please contact Mike and Val Earl for more information and questions.

Candlewishes Soy Candles: Candlewishes Inc. is an established fundraiser company that allows students the opportunity to pre-sell beautiful scented soy based candles and make a 50% profit on all the candles they sell. The candles are non-toxic, burn longer and are cleaner than conventional candles made of paraffin, and they smell wonderful. These candles make great gifts. General Instrumental Department Fundraisers

Tax Credit: Raise $ in 30 Seconds! Maybe you never thought of it as a fundraiser before, but it most definitely is! Check out how the Tax Credit program is a fundraiser that you can do right from your own home. Questions? Contact Jim Fitzpatrick .

Raytheon Donation Matching Program: All families who have a relative working at Raytheon can participate in this program and greatly assist our fundraising. For every $ given to the Sabino instrumental program, Raytheon will match in donation to SIMBA's General Fund. PLEASE participate! Questions? Contact Laura Cain

Octoberfest: Many thanks to all who helped at last year's event! Quickly becoming a Sabino tradition, the SIMBA Octoberfest needs many hands to help grill the burgers & brats, man the concession stands and sell at the souvenir table.
